The toner cartridges have a page yield of 3,000 or 5,000 pages (depending on whether the cartridges are starter cartridges or replacement cartridges), and the drum units have a page yield of approximately 15,000 pages (estimates based on 5% page coverage). Most customers are frustrated to find out that they not only have to change the toner cartridges, but by the time the drum units wear out, they have to change the drum units too!
